Description
This is a rare excellent MFSL copy of Jazz LP by guitarist, Lee Ritenour, MFSL 1-147, pressed by Victor Music Company of Japan under License for Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs in 1984. The LP was recorded in half speed and pressed on audiophile quality virgin vinyl, which is translucent in that light passes through the vinyl surface. The original plastic record inner sleeve as well as the cardboard protective record insert is also are included.
As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.
The LP is in excellent condition and play graded using headphones and plays with little noise Although there is some light crackle heard at the start of Isn't She Lovely on Side 2. The cover is in very good condition with corners slightly worn. The top seam and bottom seams are strong as is the spine with no splits and the product information on the spine clearly readable. The front cover is very nice but does have a slight tear at the bottom near the mouth
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold is returned sealed .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical or unreasonable manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
