PRETZELS
Between 1976 and 1978 some record label executives exploited US tax law
in order to create a subsidiary label and write it off
at a tax loss to help the parent label remain profitable
A large number of albums would be on the new label,
and the entire batch would be listed as unsold
Rocking Horse Records began as a children's label
In the mid 1970's they were expanded to include Pop and Rock releases
Like many Tax Scam releases this one includes
competent, sometimes excellent performances
and an odd selection of cover songs
