LEE MORGAN "The Sidewinder" RVG,Blue Note 4157 Mono Vinyl
This is the "VAN GELDER" stamped pressing of LEE MORGAN's "The Sidewinder" on the "New York" labels of Blue Note BLP 4157. Musicians include Lee Morgan – trumpet, Joe Henderson – tenor saxophone, Barry Harris – piano, Bob Cranshaw – bass, Billy Higgins – drums.
VINYL plays beautifully. Ensemble sections are very dynamic and strong, clear, clean and powerful. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very Good gloss. One non-feelable hairline mark. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it). The "New York" labels are clean with spindle marks. See photos.
COVER is in good shape, wear, handwriting. top seam shows cracking, spine solid, lower seam solid. Four inch top on top and bottom seams. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" shows wear. Otherwise clean. Please see photos.
