LEE MORGAN City Lights New & Sealed Vinyl LP
Record label/brand: Classic Records/Blue Note 1575
Mastered by Bernie Grundman using Classic Records' all-tube cutting system and pressed on QUIEX 200g Super Vinyl Profile, this is an audiophile version of the 1957 Blue Note Classic.
Record is new and sealed in it's original plastic sleeve. Perforation is completely intact. NO flaws or blemishes... 100% MINT!

Review: "City Lights" features a powerhouse blowing-date sextet of Lee on trumpet, Curtis Fuller on trombone, George Coleman (making his jazz debut in a rare BN appearance) on both alto and tenor saxes, Ray Bryant on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and Art Taylor on drums. This album also features the arranging talents of Benny Golson, who additionally contributed three of its compositions. For years, "City Lights" has been among the most collectable of Blue Note LPs -- it does feature one of the best early covers and is his first stereo effort - but it sat in far too many picture frames on hipster walls than it did on turntables.

Records are shipped in a protective plastic sleeve with the record on the outside of the jacket to prevent jacket-splitting. All records will be shipped in heavy duty cardboard with pads on either side for added protection. More valuable albums will be double-boxed for added protection. Shipping prices below are for single records. Multiple record sets and combined shipping of more than one auction will be based on weight and package size. Shipping for records within the USA is $4.00 for the first LP and $2.00 for each additional LP sent at the same time. These will be sent USPS Media rate with "Delivery Confirmation" which guarantees a tracking number.
