Description

ATC 9180 - I thought this was the South African release but I have been informed that it is the Rhodesian release as it has white labels - Manufactured by TEAL Record Company. I do not know too much about it other than I bought it at a record fair and was told it is South African so please take a look at the photos for the actual item.   It is marked 'Superhype' and there is a misprint 'I Can't Quite you Baby' on the label   The record is in excellent condition with no scratches or jumps but there is some very slight crackling in places - it has been stored on a shelf in a plastic sleeve for a long time so it could just be a little dusty.   The sleeve is in good condition apart from a small tear on the open side as you should see from the photos.

I have received this helpful info from another Ebay member: Hi. It's definitely the Rhodesian pressing - I own all the Zep South African pressings and 4 Rhodesian pressings (plus releases from Angola and Mozambique) including this one, as well as singles from these countries. Teal Records was the leading record manufacturer in Southern Africa (along with Trutone) and had the Atlantic license for most territories, so people look up up Teal and assume South Africa as it was based there, but each territory has slightly different releases.
