Description
This is a very scarce ORIGINAL PROMOTIONAL 45rpm / 7" SINGLE of Led Zeppelin's Houses Of The Holy track "D'Yer Maker". This is from 1973 when Zeppelin was on their own label, Swan Song", which is what all their later 45's were on, but this is on their original label, Atlantic Records, NOT Swan Song (which is what the LP it comes from was on), which is interesting. But if you look at their single releases, they are typically, as here, having one side of the 45 the original "long version", the other side an edited "short version", and being a recut version edited for radio, the short version is in mono, the long version the Stereo album version. TYPICALLY, but not this copy. This 45 is Mono on BOTH SIDES, including the album version, so both sides have been redone / mastered for this 45 only. This is a PROMO version and is REALLY hard to find. The vinyl is in great shape, the "long version" looks Excellent, the short version is VG+ with just a couple of what look like sleeve marks. Both sides play great and the disc is very flat with it's original, I believe, Atlantic Records sleeve, in VG+ shape. The "long" side has the year, 73, written in ink on the label. We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours.
