? VERY RARE because only a very limited number were pressed in the U.K. in 1990 to
promote the release of the band's "Re-Masters" double-album package, and
they were distributed to juke box operators in the U.K. only.
I believe that when the U.S. parent company or the band found
out about this, that they were recalled.
Some years ago I came across a small batch in a warehouse
in the U.K. - after they had been lying in a corner there for about 15 years!
“Stairway to Heaven” was never released as a 7 inch single for
retail sale in most countries; in the Philippines, a cut-down
4 minute 1 second (exactly ½ of the original track length) was
released in 1972, and South Africa released a promo 7 inch
record in 1972; in the USA there were several limited releases
on 7” vinyl but they are extraordinarily scarce and horrendously
expensive! In Australia an acoustic version of "Stairway" was
released by Warner on a 3 track Led Zeppelin EP “Acoustically”
(Warner # EPA-228) in the 1970’s.
? Can be used on any turntable/record player and in all juke boxes.
? This record has a large centre hole. I will supply FREE a centre hole adapter if your player or juke plays only small centre hole records.
? Laser-printed title strip for juke box use supplied FREE.
