Led Zeppelin : Presence A2 / B2 1st Press
This first pressing plays to a superb standard with no interference as such.  There are no clicks or pops and the clarity and depth of the recording is very impressive.  There are a handful of very quiet statics on S1 and just a minimal amount of very light static on 'Tea For One' on S2 but this classic track still plays exceptionally well.  This static is so so quiet!  The vinyl itself is very clean with only some light hairlines.
The embossed cover is in excellent condition and you won't find many cleaner examples, it is rarely seen in this condition and has only minimal wear.  The inner sleeve is also in excellent order.
This pressing has Led Zeppelin and Presence embossed on the front and the Apollo logo embossed on the back.  It also has Made In UK on the labels as opposed to Manufactured In UK which is on later pressings.

The audio on S1 is Mint(-)
The audio on S2 is Mint(-) (T4 Near Mint-)
The gatefold is Ex
The inner sleeve is Ex
The labels are Near Mint
Visual description
The vinyl is in lovely condition with a fine glossy sheen and there are no marks or scratches.  There is just one tiny heat bump on S1 that has no affect on the superb audio and under a bright light you can see a small number of faint hairlines on both sides.  There is one very small hairline mark on S2 that is perhaps a little more obvious but it certainly doesn't stand out.  There is no groove wear and it is clear the vinyl has not been played very much based on the audio and visual quality and that there is barely any spindle wear on S1 and only a little on S2.  The Swan Song labels remain in great shape with no other marking.
Play grading
The quiet build up / intro on 'Achilles Last Stand' plays perfectly and as the volume increases the audio is so strong and deep with no background.  Plant's opening vocal is faultless and it continues in the same exact way.  Every vocal and instrumental section play with sublime precision and there are no ticks, clicks, pops or static.  Page's mid solo in conjunction with Bonham's usual power is superb and the remainder of this 10 minute epic is just as impressive with only a handful of mega quiet statics right at the end.  I've often thought the production levels on this album are not as good as the previous ones but to be honest I see no sign of that here.  This has to be graded as Mint- such is the quality.
The intro on 'For Your Life' has no background and again the audio plays with great depth and resonance, helped to a large degree by Jones' deep bass sound.  The first vocal section is equal to that as is the following instrumental section.  From then on there are no negatives, just pure clean audio throughout.  As per always I listen to every track in full and this is Mint from the first note to the last.  Just a couple of minor ticks in the dead wax.
'Royal Orleans' is often affected by a tinny distorted sound but this is a very clean version.  In my opinion there is no distortion and there is no other intrusion either.  I will say Mint- just to err on the side of caution :-)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The intro on 'Nobody's Fault But Mine' is more or less perfect with only a couple of barely audible statics at the beginning.  As Bonham and Jones come in the audio cannot be faulted and Plant's opening vocal is 'as new'.  It continues in the same way and the mid instrumental is as powerful as could be!  There is no distortion and the more I listen to it the more I am impressed!  There are a few momentary silent passages and apart from a couple of mega light dust ticks the clarity is stunning.  Page's solo near the end is so strong and precise and the final section has no background either.  I will say Mint- although I'm not sure the minus is necessary!
'Candy Store Rock' has just one super quiet static on the intro and then plays with imperious quality from that point on.  This is essentially another perfect track and this time I will grade as Mint as there is literally no intrusion on the audio, not that there was on the previous one!
'Hots On For Nowhere' plays to the same high end standard with zero interference.  It plays as well as it would have done back in '76 and Mint is again deserved.
The intro on 'Tea For One' has no intrusion and the first low-key section plays so clearly with only a minimal amount of very light static at the beginning, nothing intrusive.  Plant's first vocal is flawless and this is of course a long section and you really cannot fault the clarity on offer here.  The first high octane section with Page and Bonham in unison is so strong and there are only a handful of mega quiet statics following it.  It continues to play with such a clean sound and there are no clicks or pops getting in the way.  The vast majority of this 10 minute epic plays so quietly and yet I only noticed a couple of minor ticks.  The clarity and depth of the audio is so impressive and I think Near Mint- is a fair assessment of the audio but majority does indeed play better than that.  A superb version overall.
In summary this first pressing plays with genuine quality and in essence there is no interference.  The bare minimum of static on the final track and by that I mean hardly any!  The sonic quality on both sides is so strong and as you can see there are no clicks or pops anywhere.  This is one of the finest examples of this LP that I have ever listened to and the cover and inner just happen to be in great condition also - that makes a change!
The Gatefold & Picture Inner
This predominantly white cover is in excellent condition and we all know how rare that is!  The edges and corners are so clean and the wide spine is also in great shape with no obvious wear.  The opening edge is pristine and the embossed front cover is still so clean and white with only the bare minimum of fading around the edges.  There is just a very minor crease bottom left and a couple of tiny indents top left.  The back cover with the embossed Apollo logo is very similar but with just a little more spotting near the bottom edge albeit minimal and one very small blemish near the left edge.  The inside of the gatefold has a little discolouration / fading plus one small mark on the left panel and an even fainter one on the right panel.  Overall though this is an excellent example of this cover and in much better condition than so many.
The textured inner has no side splits or tears and has only a couple of faint marks and minimal creasing.

Postage & Packaging

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
