Description
This is an original first pressing of LED Zeppelin’s Presence released in 1976. It was purchased by me and stored and played with care during the last 48 years. As always I will provide an honest assessment so that buyer and seller have all the relevant information required prior to potential bids.
Having researched the history of the album from the usual sources I, like many others, am slightly confused at the differing descriptions of the early pressings. To clarify, I will let you decide on the information I am providing as to the sequence of the release of my album. The obvious facts are the embossed front and back cover with LED ZEPPELIN PRESENCE (faint but still visible) and the Swan Song logo on the back. Made in UK on the labels, ostensibly on original pressings, and the dead wax etching of Atlantic Studios on one side of the dead wax, along with the A2//B1 identifiers.

Atlantic Studios is etched on one side of the dead wax. I can confirm I bought the album in 1976 and will, as always, provide an honest assessment of the quality of what is on offer. Having play graded the album I am classifying the vinyl as EX bordering on NM on most tracks with no scratches, pops or clicks and minimal surface noise. No visible spindle wear and the vinyl has retained its initial sheen. The cover and original insert are undamaged with no creases or folds. There is slight wear to the bottom edge of the inner sleeve due to the delicate cardboard used. Please see photos for visual evidence.
Overall, a great copy of the early pressing of another Led Zeppelin classic made towards the end of their recording career.
