Led zeppelins "Prescence" a 1st press TOP example. Taken from an on-going collection of pristine records with zero plays in over 35 years. I can not justify just how perfect these are, but will do my best in the description beow......Extra large photographs of the actual item, no effects added are also available to view at the end of the description.
This is the gatefold cover, with embossed swansong logo on the back & embossed title on the front. A1 & matching B1 matrix. Inner sleeve SSK59402 swan song records 484, Kings road, London, SW10. The object 1976 swan songs inc. Atlantic recording distributed by WEA records LTD.
Condition :
The vinyl is spotless AN ABSOLUTE STUNNING RECORD.....Static still clings to this ORIGINAL. Unplayed in over 35 years & only had at most 2 plays in its life. Has to be said if you are looking for a more perfect example, you would need a SEALED original to better this. Its 100% SPOTLESS! Take a look at the photographs, I took these in daylight to give the best possible view as to the condition. This will take your breath away. I had trouble taking these photos as dust particles kept clinging to the record!! WOW...Perfectly flat with no warping or scratched marks, no needle thrash, no ingrained dust or storage wear. THE BEST POSSIBLE VINYL HERE!!!!
The cover is free from any ripping or tear, no handwritten names anywhere on the front/back or inside. The embossed logo is intact on te front & back. No grubby marks or stains anywhere. SUPER SHARP CORNERS. SO STURDY & FRESH!! a fully Intact spine at the side 100% legible, no splitting. At the very worst on the outside if I was to be EXTREMELY critical & I mean particularly exact. There will be the most minimal of wear on the outside (in some places) to be expected down to the design being pure white. Take a look for yourself. There is minimal wear on the back, one tiny mark on the front and almost invisable storage age wear on the front. The inside is spotless & also has none of the things listed above that would be a negative to list. This has been stored out of direct sunligh & in a smoke free/damp free home.
Both labels are PERFECT spindle free with absolutely no damage. 100% correct. Examined under bright white light, no signs of any prior use, as I say this had about 2 plays at most. Virtually Unheard of to see better examples on offer. There are no rips, or tear, no fade, wear or handritten names. As a bonus to this fantastic offer you have A1 & B1 on the rims, perfectly clear & machine stamped.
The inner is practically spotless, and free from any negatives. No splitting to the bottom or sides. No names or ripping etc. NO DUST>DAMP>SMELL>AGE>SMOKE DAMAGE ANYWHERE ON THIS TOTAL COMPLETE ORIGINAL PACKAGE.
Please see my other items, some zeppelin raritys this listing from the same collection... Thanks.

>> Grading of Items All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable
Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
