What makes this LP an authenticated original UK 1st press:

Red lettering to cover spine
Rear of the cover has the text “SWAN SONG/484 KINGS ROAD, LONDON SW10”
No Warner “W” on any vinyl labels
A1/B5/C1/D1 matrices
Thick card sleeve and inserts

Condition of LP

Cover – The die-cut slot card sleeve is in great shape for its age, and comes complete with two inner sleeves and the white inner gatefold. The outer sleeve exhibits some rubbing on the spine, edges and corners. There is also a very small sticker removal mark on the top left hand corner (shown in photographs below).

The inner sleeves are in great shape with the only detraction being some slight edgewear on one side of both inner sleeves. The folded white insert is in decent shape with a faint watermark. Overall I consider the sleeve in great shape for its age, the photographs do all the talking.

Vinyl – Both vinyls are in fantastic shape, nice and flat and still retain a lovely gloss. When viewed under a lamp vinyl one is completely free of any surface marks or scratches, however small. Vinyl 2 is also in great shape with only one side exhibiting a few very faint wispy sleeve removal marks which do not affect play.

Having played this again for playgrading purposes, I found this album very enjoyable to listen to with the music sounding vibrant and clear of any distortion.

Just for your information the LP's were playgraded from start to finish on a Clearaudio Performance Turntable with a Clearaudio Maestro cartridge through a Graham Slee Reflex era Gold Phono stage. You can therefore feel confident that the LP was really put through its paces.
