: LED ZEPPELIN ‘LED ZEPPELIN III’ – A MADE IN Gt. BRITAIN ATLANTIC RECORD LABEL STEREO VINYL LP IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE CATALOGUE NUMBER, ATLANTIC 2401002.
A very nice Stereo example of Led Zeppelin’s Third Album release from 1970 on the Red/Maroon Atlantic Record Labels, with “Do What You Wilt” in run off area on side 1, and So Mote It Be on side 2 run off area.
Both record labels are in superb Near Mint condition, superb, bright and undamaged record labels with just a couple of light signs of play to the centre of each record label.
Side 1 matrix information side 1: 2401002 A-5 and Side 2: 2401002 B-5.
Side 1 has “Do What Thou Wilt” etched into the run out groove, and side 2 has, So Mote It Be.
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in Excellent Plus to Near Mint condition, beautiful, clean and bright Vinyl surfaces to both sides, NO scratches or scuffs and only a couple of light surface hairlines.
The LP plays through both sides superbly without faults, there is just a little mild background crackle to a couple of the quieter tracks, but nothing major to spoil the sound quality.
And is protected in it’s original De Luxe Gatefold sleeve. This sleeve is a very nice example in Excellent to Excellent Plus condition. No seam splits or tears, just light age toning on the edges front and back. The revolving wheel that is incorporated into the front panel of the sleeve is in perfect working order.
The front panel of this sleeve incorporates a circular card disc, and when rotated different pictures appear in the cut out circles on the front.
This is a really nice example of this original first issue 1970 UK Stereo Led Zeppelin Album with a superb condition LP.
