Description
HERE is a great copy of the superlative 1971 progressive rock album, Led Zeppelin IV, on UK Atlantic vinyl - a true first pressing with the soon-to-be withdrawn Peter Grant credit, earliest possible A3/B3 matrices and with PORKY/PECKO DUCK etched into the run-out area of the disc. What's more, this fully complete first press is in lovely EX/EX condition - both plum and red labels look perfect with no writing, no sticker residue or damage of any kind and only the lightest traces of spindle marks, indicating only modest and certainly very careful play. Both sides of the vinyl look unmarked in normal light - only the lightest, wispiest sleeve withdrawal and surface marks can be made out when inspected under strong halogen lighting, and certainly no deep feelable scratches. The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is a comfortable EX- condition with no writing, no rips, no sticker tears or anything untoward, a lovely undamaged spine and just a little edge/cornerwear. The original printed inner is present and has been taped along the bottom seam so presumably has suffered a knifing split at some stage. Good luck if you are bidding - and don't forget to check out my other items. I carefully package my records and post tracked to ensure they reach you as they leave me, with the disc removed from the sleeve.
