2401012 DELUXE
PORKY and PECKO DUCK etched into the run-off grooves and upside down feather on side 2. This has the correct Misty Mountain Hop spelling. An great and hard to find first press LP with A//3 B//3 matrices.
Vinyl: EX. A stunning vinyl of this classic which only comes along once in a while. Most copies unfortunately have been trashed. This copy has been carefully looked after and the audio is absolutely breathtaking!! I have played this in full on my high end system with a Linn Sondek cartridge and it was a great experience to hear it once again without distortion or clicks and ticks. There are a couple of the lightest hairlines observed under a strong light but they are absolutely inaudible on replay. This will satisfy most demanding Zep collectors.
Gatefold sleeve: VG+ to EX. A lovely gatefold sleeve and although not perfect this is far better than average without any creasing. Light storage wear on the top and bottom edge. Light wear on the spine and a small name to the front right. No damage and no smudges.
This also has the original inner sleeve which of course has the lyrics to "Stairway ..". It' s made of the very vulnerable "blotting paper" type paper which splits easily on the edges. This copy has sellotape deposits and side splits but at least it is there as an original. The vinyl will be sent out in a separate white inner.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next psych album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
