Listed here is a RARE COMPLETE COPY of the album by Led Zeppelin titled IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR. It is the 1st UK Press characterised by the A5 - B5 matrix with the rare A sleeve.
The album featured an unusual gimmick: the album had an outer sleeve which was made to look like a plain brown paper bag to disguise the six different sleeves making impossible for record buyers to tell which sleeve they were getting. All the pictures of the sleeve depicted the same scene in a bar and each photo was taken from the separate point of view of someone who appeared in the other sleeve photos. The inner sleeve also had a gimmick and when got wet the colour changed to look like a child colouring.
The vinyl is visually in excellent minus condition. Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is 40 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.
The cover is in excellent plus condition with corner wear.
The spine is in excellent condition and fully readable with creases and corner wear. It has the letter A corresponding to the relevant photo of the sleeve.
The Swan Song labels are in excellent plus condition.
The inner sleeve with the colouring gimmick is in near mint condition.
The flimsy outer brown paper bag has done a good job protecting the inside, it is complete with some marks and has split on the side.

Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and sixty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.
