Led Zeppelin III early pressing US SD 7201 with Hype Sticker VG++
This is an early US pressing of the Led Zeppelin III record,note no UPC code.The hype sticker on the label has the songs and the number SD 7201,sticker is on the shrink wrap around the record it is not on the actual sleeve.The sticker was often thrown away after you peeled the plastic .The Atlantic inner sleeve is still included.The number etched in the inner deadwax is STA-702005-A,also (1)one and mastercraft and so Mote Be It, and AT.Still has the original spinner tooYou only see it if you hold the sleeve in very bright light .There are no seam splits or writing on any sides.It has a gatefold too.The sleeve is still shrink wrapped,with a single penlike mark in the lower right corner,see the photo.It has a very smooth spine the corners look good,just the tiniest bit of wear in the upper right corner near the opening.The record still has a shine and virtually no wear on the b side,and 2 fine marks on the A side.I played it,there were no issues with noise For that reason only, I call the record VG++ or better and the cover VG++/NM- or better .Seems like 120-140 gram vinyl.See the photos for a better view.This record came from a store collection,the owners personal copies.The store was closed in 89/90.Many records are in great condition or were sealed,watch for more listings.
