You are viewing my rarely seen STEREO vinyl album recorded on the Red and Plum ATLANTIC label in 1970 by LED ZEPPELIN entitled, 'LED ZEPPELIN III' (Led Zeppelin 3).
"Led Zeppelin III is the third studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was recorded between January and July 1970 and released on 5 October 1970 by Atlantic Records. Composed largely at a remote cottage in Wales known as Bron -Yr-Aur, this work represented a maturing of the band's music towards a greater emphasis on folk and acoustic sounds. This surprised many fans and critics, and upon its release the album received rather indifferent reviews.
Although it is not one of the highest sellers in Zeppelin's catalogue, Led Zeppelin III is now generally praised, and acknowledged as representing an important milestone in the band's history. Although acoustic songs are featured on Led Zeppelin III's predecessors, it is this album which is widely acknowledged for showing that Led Zeppelin was more than just a conventional rock band and that they could branch out into wider musical territory."

This album itself was made in Great Britain and has the reference number of 2401-002. It has the etched matrix numbers of 2401002 A5 (side one) and 2401002 B5 (side two). Etched in the dead wax area of Side One are the words, "Do What Thou Wilt" and etched on Side Two are the words "So Mote It Be".
The record itself is in superb condition. There are a couple of minor surface marks to both sides, however these are light and do not affect the play .There are no sticks or jumps. I critically grade this album as 'EX'.
The album cover is the original front laminated version made by the E.J. Day Group, London and Bedford. As the photograph shows, this cover is in extremely good condition, there are no visible creases or marks and only some minor light age discolouration to the edges. I would say this is a stunning example and would again critically grade it as 'EX'.
