All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.

This record is in good+ condition. It has some spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or severe fading anywhere. The centres are tight and overall the labels are in good shape with just some light grubbiness and the spindle marks to report. The labels show track 3 as just 'Celebration' rather than the correct 'Celebration Day'.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides do have light surface lines visible when angled in normal light and also a few other marks and scratches. The most sinister of these can only just be felt and occurs in track 3 on side 1. As I say it can just be felt and is the main issue on the record. Other than this mark the record has light surface lines and signs of use/wear but nothing drastic or sinister looking. It has a nice shine and if not for the mark in track 3 would be pretty decent all round. It has no blemishes, nasty scuffs or noticable visual warping.

I play tested the record and overall it plays well with very enjoyable audio for the majority. However it has an unfortunate stick in track 3 on side 1 caused by the mark mentioned above and a few other issues that I will do my best to outline.

Firstly it lays flat on both sides and has little to no movement in the arm noticable on either side. Side 1 starts with some light surface noise in the run in and quieter intro but nothing severe. The audio continues with good quality but minor light surface noise between tracks until a third of the way through track 3 where there is a stick. This is caused by the mark mentioned above and does require the arm to be moved forward a little. Once moved forward slightly the track plays through with no further sticks but some clicks that are really faint but are just about audible in the background of the track.

As you can imagine many systems will produce different results as many are fitted with different counter weights, styluses etc. My system has an SME 3009 arm which tends to hold tight, but others may experience different results. Due to this I would expect further sticks or skipping from the mark mentioned in track 3. I didnt experience any however and so if you have a similar arm then you can expect just the one, but I am just trying to be as clear and honest as possible and make sure everyone is aware of the possible defects in this track.

Once 'the' 'stick' has occured in track 3 I carried on with the play tesst and noted the following:

A very mild amount of interference in the quieter intro on track 4,  and 3 or 4 faint clicks in the run out of this track. The vast majority of side 1 has nice crisp, clear audio however with just these issues and the skip letting it down.

Side 2 played well all the way through with no major issues apart from the first 10 seconds of track 1 where a small and very thin line causes 5 loud clicks. Luckily these soon pass and are near the beginning of the track and side, and so dont disrupt things too much. Saying this they are clearly audible however. Other than these clicks in track 1 I noted a minor light short series of clicks in the intro to track 2. These are light but again are there none the less.

Other than these two smaller problems on side 2 it played really well with no major interference issues and little to no distortion.

Overall despite the stick in track 3 which is of course annoying and not ideal I enjoyed the whole play test, bar the loud clicks at the very beginning of side 2.

If you can live with the skip in track 3 and the 5 or so clicks at the beginning of side 2 then overall the audio is very enjoyable with no massive issues and nice clarity.

The fully laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has slight wear to the edges and corners(pics), but the writing along the spine is all still legible. It is clean, bright, has a strong spine and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is however faint ring marks and some minor creasing on both sides but these are not major. There is also a touch of age related grubbiness to the rear but again nothing drastic. Inside the gatefold is in great shape with minimal wear and no major issues to report. There is very little creasing but the slightest hint of discolouring in places but nothing major inside as I say. So overall a strong, clean and bright sleeve with a fully functional rotating wheel and no major defects other than some minor age related wear. I have tried my best ot describe the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible.

It contains its original plain white poly-lined inner in very good condition. This does however have slight creasing and a 2" split to the left edge. Other than this it is solid enough with no tears and no pen marks anywhere.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
