LED ZEPPELIN II vinyl LP
Hi and welcome to my listing for this wonderful second album from LED ZEPPELIN. I believe this is an original 1969 first pressing with red and maroon label.
The matrix numbers are as follows :- side 1 - 588198 A2 11 side 2 - 588198 8 B2 321
SLEEVE - light brown gatefold, shows signs of wear and scuffing. Spine shows signs of wear. Sleeve has slit down it but will glue.
INNER SLEEVE - plain white, solid " made in England RS 4-84 " printing
VINYL - shows of being well played. Side 2 although shows light surface scratches plays through ok unfortunately side 1 has a radial scratch ( difficult to see ) across " The Lemon Song " it plays through this but skips on a couple of occasions however it does not stick. overall a player.
THE KNEBWORTH FLYER - This is an original flyer from the 1979 Knebworth concert picked up by a friend who was there. Its an authentic piece of Led Zeppelin memorabilia but has condition issues. It measures about 30cm long X 21.5 cm wide. There is a small section of the flyer missing at the front bottom ( about 10cm X 1cm ) There is age related foxing spots front and back and residue of blue tack where its was fixed to a door. There are a couple of other tares and folding on the flyer BUT all that having being said although fragile it still is a pretty cool original item that would look great framed up.
note - I am not an expert record grader but I try to be really honest in my appraisals and do my best. I am listing a couple of other albums and memorabilia which may be of interest.
