Description

Up for auction is a vinyl lp from LED ZEPPELIN for their classic  2nd album 'II'
This album was released on Atlantic Records in the US (Atlantic SD 8216 )

This is indeed the original first US Pressing on Atlantic!
This is known as the "Hot Mix" by mastering guru, Robert Ludwig, providing for a much fuller sound than the mixes that came later .
This mix was pulled early on due to people complaining about their needles skipping, thinking the lp was defective. Of course, it was due to the lp being played on inferior record players that couldn't handle the mix!


It does have the following:
In the run-off grooves:
 "RL" is stamped on both sides
Matrix Numbers:  Side One: ST - A - 691671  ; Side Two: ST  - A -  691672

1841 Broadway on label and on the inside of gatefold.



Condition:
Vinyl is in EX ( EXCELLENT grade condition --- between VG++ and NEAR MINT MINUS)  visual grade condition!!!
Playgrades nicely with only minimal surface noise heard. I played it loud!  Excellent listening experience!!

Gatefold Album Cover is in overall great condition with nice and tight binding and readable spine!
Solid Clean cover with only light standard shelf wear!
There is a few light creases on back cover towards lower right hand corner. There is a slight bend to the top right corner on back cover.
Vinyl has been well preserved in its original Atlantic factory Inner Sleeve!
