152g VINYL PRESSING WITH ALANTIC THIRD RED/PLUM LABELS (WITH KILLING FLOOR & LIVIN’ LOVIN’ MAID CREDITS). DATED INNER SLEEVE STATES 0970 ‘SEPTEMBER 1970’

Sleeve: Very Good

Ernest J Day soft card sleeve has storage wear and some handling creases to the back panel. Other than that it is in sound condition without splits .

Inner Sleeve: Very Good

Sound condition without splits, the original Poly-lined inner has some discolouration and crease to lower right-hand side.   

Labels: Excellent- & Excellent

Unmarked labels, one or two light spindle lines, and small area of print scuff on side one (See photo above)  

Vinyl Visually: Excellent

Normal light level reveals no surface marks or lines, using spot-lamp a few faint sleeve wispy lines are noticed.

Audio Quality: Excellent- to Excellent

This Lp has been played a few times, but an excellent sound quality has been retained and the test play reviled little to fault, powerful bass without the overplayed distortion. Some light ticks in quieter sections and intros, nothing to over shadow the music though.

The photos within this advertisement are of the record offered for sale. I do not use stock images or previously used photographs.

This record has been checked visually both under normal daylight and under a strong under halogen spot-lamp. Every record I sell has been checked for its audio quality and played through completely on both sides. I check to ensure that they are flat on the rotating turntable.

I grade all records using The Record Collectors grading system, visually grading the vinyl surfaces, labels, inner sleeve and cover, adding a single (+Plus) if I believe the quality is slightly better (- Minus) if slight under.

The Record Collectors Grading System:

MINT: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

I take great care in the dispatch of records and only use strong cruciform packaging. Every record is placed within a new poly-lined inner before its dispatch to you. The vinyl and sleeve are separated to decrease the likelihood of damage to sleeves.

I can offer combine postage for two records for the same cost as sending one. I aim to dispatch the next working day from your payment.
