Hi, you are bidding on a LED ZEPPELIN II RL Hotmix edition. RL SS 1A on the A side. SS LH on the B side. I imagine you know what this album is already if you’re looking.  So I’ll cut that crap and get to the point.  The album plays VG+ at worst. There are a few clicks at the end of Thank You.  I’ve had no less than 6 of these over the years and this is one of the best ones yet as far as its sound.  I’ve had a couple that looked better but didn’t play much better.  There are light marks on both sides and there is crackle in the quieter parts but not all of them.  I love this album so it’s a pleasure to play it as I review it as I am now.  This record is hard hard rock, right, so you can barely hear crackle during the music and it’s not bad in the quiet parts but there is background, no annoying loud pops that I refuse to tolerate. Both sides start with light crackle and it quickly fades to background as the music starts. Most of the time you cannot hear any background, especially if you aren't directly in front of your speakers, like when I grade. The B side plays very very well in my opinion. I grade kinda hard so looks wise it’s a VG but plays way better.  The jacket is very nice, no rips, tears, writing, or other bullshit.  The original inner sleeve is present. 

This is a hard to find record and even harder to find in good, listenable condition. If you can handle some crackle here and there, this is for you. Overall, it plays VG+ and only the surface marks make it look VG. And as I said, the B side plays very very well.                             

What you see in the photos is what you will receive.  If there is no inner sleeve in the photos, then you shouldn’t expect one.  Same goes for posters, stickers, merchandise sheets, and/or anything else.

I Play-grade and visually grade (UNDER ULTRA BRIGHT LIGHTING) many/most albums and usually post both descriptions.  If the record looks minty/unplayed, I usually will not listen to it unless it’s a hard to find album.

MINT – Record has no marks/Jacket is perfect or very close

NM – Record may have a couple very, very, minor marks (sleeve scuff), Jacket may have tiny crease or loss of color.

EXC – Record may have several marks that definitely will not affect play, looks mostly shiny still

VG+ - Record may have a number of marks but will play through just fine, may have a light snap and crackle or a pop.  Jacket will have wear but no rips or tears

VG – Record may have many marks but not repeat tracks.  It may have snap, crackle, and pop but never skip (repeat track).

If I do not mention writing on the jacket or label, then there is none.

If you are bidding on Vinyl Records, you should know that I do not sell records that SKIP (repeat a track)!  Ever!  I listen and collect just like you do and have spent way too much on audio gear to listen to crap records and don’t expect you to either!   I Ultrasonic clean them so they sound great and I provide you with jacket covers  and vinyl anti-static covers (new), included in your bid amount.    I have had vinyl for 35 years that sound mint and brand new albums that sound awful.  This is due to improper cleaning!!!  Ultrasonic cleaning is the only method to remove imbedded dirt and give the vinyl a chance to sound well.  It’s worth the extra few bucks to have a cleaned vinyl with brand new anti-static sleeves!  MANY  brand new albums have marks on them  that do not affect play.  Buying an album with sleeve marks and needle marks is perfectly fine as they can play MINT or Near Mint!   EXTRA BRIGHT light makes almost all albums show some imperfections but they don’t affect playability at all! I grade records in bright lighting, not quite NASA search lights but rest assured you will get what is described.
