Description
Here is a copy of Led Zeppelin 2, featuring the Robert Ludwig “RL” in the dead wax .
Side One features “RL”
Side Two features “RL SS”
This is a “Presswell” copy, both labels show the code: (ST-A-691671 PR) & (ST-A-691672 PR)
VINYL:
Visually the record has surface marks all over on both sides. Side b shows some more scuffing. And neither side has any blemishes that are alarmingly deep. Both sides play with background noise at the start, which gets overtaken by the music. The background noise can be heard during pauses, solos, and quiet parts. The record plays more like a VG- during the rockin’ parts. The crackle is tolerable during the quiet parts. The record plays through all the way without skips on multiple systems.
The record definitely plays with that RL punch/loudness!
SLEEVE:
The sleeve is graded VG with wear, it appears to be a later printing of the sleeve due to the deeper brown/red color, but it almost seems to be an earlier cover than some of the repress covers that have seen.
