Description
I'm the original owner and take meticulous care of my records. Record is in near pristine condition. Was always stored vertical in my record cabinet.
I would like to add this to the description as I have had a couple of questions.
I looked up play grades to familiarize with them and fully believe this record to be a NM grade. I always took great care of my records. Before playing I use a zerostat gun to neutralize static, then clean with a Discwasher D4 brush and D4 cleaning fluid. The turntable is a Denon DP-59L. The cartridges used during the time I had this album were a Shure Type IV, Audio Technica 155-LC and presently an Ortofon Quintet Black. I replace my cartridges when I determine they have gone approximately 800-1000 hours of playing time. Tracking weight was set to between 1.25 to 1.75 grams depending on manufacture's specs. The turntable has both anti-skating and Q-damping features to further ensure the stylus was centered in the groove.
This album has less than 10 plays on it. I have over a 1000 vinyl records so I don't play the same ones over and over. It probably has only been played 5 or 6 times.
After playing, the record was put back into its protective sleeve, then the additional cardboard stiffener, slipped into the album cover, then into the plastic cover sheet put on to cover the exposed end of the album cover to prevent dust from entering. The stored vertically in the record shelf. The home is smoke free and animal free.
