***** Virtually Silent Audio Play Run-ins and in-between Tracks *****

***** Original Atlantic Labels visually are in MINT Condition *****

***** Matt Gatefold Sleeve Cover & Original Inner Sleeve both in Nr. Excellent Condition!!! *****

A Stunning NEAR MINT and Incredibly Rare Vinyl Record in this Amazing and Unbelievable condition for 43 years of age - Just so scarce these days and near impossible to find a Copy of this LP Album with unmarked shiny Vinyl surfaces that have barely been played along with a very Respectable and half decent cover sleeve that is generally found to be torn very worn and grubby dirty looking Your probably thinking will I ever find that elusive well cared for decent respectable copy - Well You Have NOW!!!

All parts of this Album are still superb and in well preserved condition Looks Virtually Untouched and virtually Unplayed - You will not be Disappointed!!! - So now here is your chance to own an Early 1st Pressing of one of the rarest and collectable Red/Plum Atlantic LP albums from Led Zeppelin!!!

This Original 1st Pressing  has the track 'THE LEMON SONG' and  Without the 'Warner Bros.' Credit on the Labels - Not like most of the later issues that were quickly changed to 'THE KILLING FLOOR’ and have the 'Warner Bros. Credits'  both on the Labels - Also the ‘Produced By Jimmy Page’  credit on the very 1st Issue  Matrix A 2 /B 2 are  printed near the bottom of Label - Later issues and matrix’s have credit’s ‘Produced by Jimmy Page’ near the top of label above White center line under ‘LED ZEPPELIN II’ text - With the Original 1st Press Light Brown (Tan) Matt Gatefold Cover  Printed by E J Day Co. Ltd. London and the Original Inner Sleeve that has ' KEEP THIS BAG AWAY FROM BABIES AND CHILDREN'' warning message at the bottom of sleeve – Very near impossible to find a respectable Copy of this Iconic Led Zeppelin Album that still plays without any major problems that hasn't been Trashed and played to near Death and Destruction at drunken parties etc back in 1969!!!

All of my records that I'm selling are from my own personal collection that I have collected and cherished for nearly 50 years and which have been kept and looked after to the highest standard.

Vinyl Condition: NM The Vinyl on both playing surfaces visually appear to be UNPLAYED virtually clear and UNMARKED with NO Evidence of any Scratches or even Hairlines that can be seen both sides are in Flawless and Exceptional condition the vinyl is completely free from any obvious surface marks or groove wear which is quiet Remarkable and Unbelievable considering this vinyl LP is 43 years old! On even closer examination under a strong halogen bulb with the disc tilted at an angle you still can’t detect  or reveal even any inner sleeve removal line traces Absolutely nothing significant - Perfect Audio Playback The vinyl lays totally flat on a moving turntable - Still retains its original deep gloss black shiny sheen and lustre - It would be near Impossible these days to find a better vinyl copy of this Record that plays without any problems! - It’s a Rare Fantastic Example!!!

Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of its 43 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean before play as to reduce further any light static crackle that may still be present

AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT: - SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as NR.MINT - This vinyl visually looks like it’s only had minimal play over its lifetime and very carefully and appears to have No marks or blemishes across the vinyl surfaces and shows NO heavy marks or scratches still looks a Stunning near Flawless example - There are No loud Clicks, pops, skips, jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all you may get some very light static dust crackle for a second or two and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any consequence on this 43 year old Vinyl that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Classic Album - Overall it’s just a Fantastic listening Experience that comes from this near Perfect Dynamic Stereo Audio performance that you would expect from a near perfect 1st pressing!!!

Labels Condition: NM (Barely used) Labels being the Original Atlantic Red &Plum labels with black written text on a clean background which look near mint and just Superb are Unmarked and look near perfect with very little evidence showing of Spindle usage marks or trails across either of the Labels with No real wear around the spindle hole which still looks untouched -On closer inspection under tilted bright light then you can only see a few faint light near invisible spider trails near the spindle hole it's very evident that it only shows minimal audio play usage

Cover Condition: VG+ to NM Original 1st press E J Day 'Light Brown' matt gatefold sleeve cover - This cover is still totally intact and in remarkable condition with nice bold vibrant colours - Amazingly there are very few and minimal blemishes/marks across the front and back of cover to be seen considering this cover is renown to be the worst produced  Led Zeppelin cover ever for wear and tear it has certainly stood the test of time well - The inside of gatefold is still  Immaculate and in Near Mint condition -  If I look closely there are some light storage scuff wear along the edges and corners with some minimal light ring wear on back of cover and a slight light corner crease on bottom left front corner and very little else across the front and back of cover with just one or two small areas across the whiter elements that show faint stain blemishes(This doesn't detract from the overall very respectable and solid condition of cover) - With NO Tears,Rips,Splits,Ink Marking or stickers

Spine Condition: EX The Matt Spine is in a very respectable intact condition and shows all written text still to be bold clear legible and perfectly worded - Although it has some light storage rub wear at each end of spine with the usual light creasing and yellow/brown ageing tinges along the top half white element of spine length  That has occurred during the storage process over 43 years

Inner Sleeve: EX The original white polylined record company sleeve still looks in overall exceptional very clean intact condition and shows no evidence of any real handling wear over its lifetime - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or other Blemishes apart from some mild yellow/brown aging tinges around the edges

I'm currently sorting through some of my other Rarer vinyl records that have been played only a few times which are mainly UK 1st  PRESSINGS - Which are all in Excellent to Mint Condition - Mainly due to Covers/Vinyl have been kept in plastic covers and Stored in a Cupboard for all of their Life Span and this is one of them

Track List:

1. Whole Lotta Love
2. What Is And What Should Never Be
3. The Lemon Song
4. Thank You

I will Grade LP to RECORD COLLECTORS 'RARE RECORDS' UK Grading system guide

This will give any interested bidders a good indication of the quality and overall standard of my LPs

Record Collector's Grading System:

MINT: The Record is in Brand New Condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The Cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in Perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be MINT.

EXCELLENT: The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little Lessing in sound quality. The Cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or Creasing.

VERY GOOD: The Record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the Cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
