LED ZEPPELIN I  ~ Atlantic ATL 40 031

Originally released in 1973 this pressing of this LP dates from the 1980’s and is a German manufactured pressing made specifically for the UK market. I bought this copy myself in the 1980’s and I can guarantee that it was  played once from new – it wasn’t to my liking and for some reason I didn’t persevere with it!  It has been carefully stored away since then and only came to light recently when I was having a sort out.

VINYL  – MINT

The vinyl is in mint condition.  When held up to strong halogen light then it is not possible to see any noticeable wear.  On this copy any tiny imperfections are so small that they not worthy of note, it really is a totally stunning example of this LP.  I grade conservatively and I would not award a mint grading unless the vinyl is of the very highest condition.

LABELS – EXCELLENT+

The labels are in excellent condition.  **** LABEL ERROR****.  Both sides of the LP have Side 1 labels although Side 2 has the correct music, an incorrect side 1 label has been applied to this side as well!!

As a condition point just one tiny brown spot on side 1 near the spindle hole – please see photos.

INNER SLEEVE (Plain) - VG

 The plain inner sleeve is in VG condition and has a few brown spots (foxing) It is date coded 11/88.  It could easily be replaced due to it being so generic.

SLEEVE – EXCELLENT+

The sleeve is in Excellent+ condition , a very clean and unmarked copy.  There is just one or two small creases to the front cover adjoining the spine which can only be seen when the sleeve is held up to strong light. The cover also has it’s original yellow promotional sticker attached. Really superb condition sleeve.
