LED ZEPPELIN 1 LP VINYL RED/PLUM SILVER STRIPE 1ST UK PRESS ATLANTIC 588171
According to Discogs, this is version number 6 released in 1969 with the Orange sleeve lettering with Grey stripe at bottom on front cover and without Superhype credits with instead Warner Bros/7 Arts. Publishing credit printed in one line on the labels.
Record play graded all the way through to determine condition. Listened on speakers and headphones. The plum UK version of Led Zeppelin I has a different sounding mix to the typical U.S. versions. The vocals and guitar are much clearer and upfront, and there seems to be more detail in the overall sound.
These plum UK versions are incredibly difficult to find in good condition, every version I have had is VG or worse. This is a rare example of a solid VG+ or better copy.
To find a UK version is now very expensive because of shipping costs as well.

VINYL in VG+ condition. Plays super clean, more like VG++ but I am playing it safe as far as condition goes. Super light paper scuffs/hairlines that do not affect the audio too much, even in the quietest segments. Excellent sounding copy, not perfect but far above what is usually out there.

COVER in VG with corner crease in the upper right hand corner (see photos). Some creasing around the edges, corner bumps, all around solid. Laminated front and back cover.
