Description
Led Zeppelin first UK LP-original pressing with rare turquoise lettered cover and disc with superhype publishing credit.Released in 1969 on red/maroon label Atlantic No.588171.This set is in excellent condition.The disc is in excellent condition-the only marks are on the first track on side 2 where there are 2 or 3 that can only be seen when holding the LP at an angle.I have played the LP and it plays perfectly well-what a great debut LP anyway!The labels are very clean-a couple of tiny spindle marks are so faint that they can only be seen when viewed at an angle in artificial light.So basically this is a very clean disc with a couple of minor blemishes and must grade at EX to EX+.
The cover is still in nice condition bar a few laminate creases which one finds to some degree on virtually every issue-the top left hand corner has the most pronounced one and 2 or 3 down the right side- the rest are few and relatively minor.These laminate creases are the only negative-otherwise its clean with no writing,tears etc.Hard to grade; around VG+.
Overall a nice condition copy of this heavy Zeppelin rarity.
