Description
Led Zeppelin first UK LP-original pressing with rare turquoise lettered cover and disc with superhype publishing credit.Released in 1969 on red/maroon label Atlantic No.588171.This set is in excellent condition-the disc and labels are near perfect-there are a couple of tiny marks but they are hardly visible and the disc plays perfectly and looks mega-what a debut LP anyway!The disc grades at EX+.
The cover is still in nice condition bar a few laminate bends which one finds to some degree on virtually every issue-the top left hand corner has the most pronounced one and 2 or 3 down the right side- the rest are few and relatively minor.These laminate bend type marks are the only negative-otherwise its clean with no writing,tears etc.Hard to grade; around VG to VG+.
This is the last of 3 of these I had and I kept the best one till last.The cover marks are the only negative but this is still the best copy of those 3 I had and several before them and with a top disc this is a nice issue of what is becoming to be a really heavy beast to find and listen to!
