Led Zeppelin : Coda A2/B 1st Press UK 1982
This FINAL UPGRADE first press is from the same previous owner as the two previous albums and again has only been played once before. The vinyl is in immaculate condition and the embossed cover and inner sleeve have also been incredibly well preserved over the years.

The S1 label is Ex+ and the S2 label is Mint-
Visual grading
The vinyl is in beautiful condition and has no marks or scratches as you would expect on a barely played record. It has a lovely glossy sheen and all I can detect are a small number of mega faint sleeve removal hairlines. The run grooves are super clean and only the S1 label has a minor imperfection caused during the manufacture.
Play grading
There is no need to individually grade each track as they all play with the same stunning quality! 'We're Gonna Groove' begins S1 with tremendous power and no interference and the acoustic 'Poor Tom' is fantastic! It plays with immaculate clarity and depth and 'I Can't Quit You Baby' is equally as good and even the super quiet section have no 'background'. 'Walter's Walk' ends the side with sublime quality and only a little inner groove distortion. A Mint- grade is a fair grading for the entire side.
'Ozone Baby' and 'Darlene' both play to the 'high end' standard and 'as new' is no exaggeration. The audio quite simply could not play any better! 'Bonzo's Montreux' shows off Bonham's superb capabilities and again the depth and power of the audio is like that of a record pressed only yesterday not nearly 40 years ago! 'Wearing And Tearing' ends the album with pure dynamic power and again...no interference. A stunning album.
In summary this genuine first press plays with faultless precision from start to finish and clearly has hardly ever been played. With complete silence in the dead wax between every track that gives you an idea of the clarity on offer here. It's the power and depth of the audio that really impresses and you can turn it up to loud without fear of distortion! The gatefold and inner sleeve are also in immaculate condition and this is without doubt another FINAL UPGRADE album that I am selling.
The Gatefold
This embossed and textured cover is in fantastic condition and many would grade 'as new'. Indeed one glance and you would think it had just been purchased! There is one small 'rub' on the bottom edge of the back cover, a minimal touch of wear by the right hand corners (very minimal!) and four tiny white 'specks' on the front cover and two on the back but aside from that it is in perfect condition. It has been so well preserved down the years it's hard to believe it is 37 years old. A stunning example!
Inner Sleeve
The thick card inner is in sublime condition with no side splits or marking. 'As new' basically!
The Labels
The S1 label does have a little 'bubbling' and a small area of 'rubbing' but this was no doubt caused during manufacture. The S2 label is super clean and they both have just the one mega faint spindle trace.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable // B & W 684 Speakers
This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
