RECORD GUIDE FOR GRADING LPs (all LPs are graded visually):
VINYL GRADING:
MINT --> Mint is Mint. It looks like it has never been played;
NEAR MINT --> Very clean with just a few light marks;
EX --> Light marks and/or few superficial scuffs and/or light scratches. An enjoyable listening with possible light intermittent surface noise;
VG --> Marks and/or scuffs and/or scratches. Still an enjoyable listening but with some surface noise;
G --> It plays, no skipping, but with lots of surface noise. It is being offered because it is rare.
BEWARE THE BLUNTED NEEDLE!!!
A blunted or chipped needle can permanently damage your most valuable records.
A worn needle will impair the quality of sound reproduction you hear.
Make sure your needle is in good condition before you play your record.
PERMANENT NEEDLES MAY CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE!!
No Needles are really Permanent!
Some last much longer than others, but all should be changed occasionally to safeguard your record
collection.
