LED ZEPPELIN 4 RECORD BOX SET "DESTROYER" CLEVELAND JUNE 24th 1977 - JIMMY PAGE.
This particular copy came from a longtime Zeppelin BL’er who helped record many famous sets including this particular show. He worked with Bob Kevins and DRGM to publish this Copy out and continued to work with empress valley on future works.
This Is a must for any serious LZ collectors and most will know the significance of this album. The show was actually recorded on 4/24/77 at the Richfield coliseum in Ohio. (Not 6/24/77). It was one of the first sets that with the help of Bonzo to gain access to the soundboard input on the FOH ( front of house) master board at the coliseum. The masters came from a maxell XLII at 7.5 ips tape and the late Giorgio Phorgal engineered the masterpiece of a set. The DRGM copy is the first original master of this infamous show. These copies are getting harder to find and shooting in value. This was a spare copy and the only reason why I’m selling it.
The grading is as followed:
Vinyl: VG, has some scuffs and a scratch (side4) but plays beautifully for a BL.
Cover: VG+, comes with original sleeve insert and cover picture (commonly detached) and vinyl is stored in poly lined sleeves. The lid is split but still strong and appearance looks great.
