On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by LED ZEPPELIN III" and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press ATLANTIC DELUXE label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!   AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED MUCH!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK ATLANTIC 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ATLANTIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS SPINNING WHEEL COVER WITH THE WHEEL IN FULLY WORKING ORDER!!!! 

This auction is for the incredibly hard to find plum/red label issued in 1970. This is a bit special really as the condition of this vinyl is far above average

!!!!A VERY HARD FIND!!! Most have been bought up by collectors!! This is hardly offered these days!!

 Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. NO clicks either, this is really a stunning very heavy glossy jet black vinyl. The audio is impeccable. Inspected under an intense light source and angled. It has a couple of wispy hairlines not affecting replay but has surely not been played much at all. 

Gatefold  Sleeve: EX++.  Probably the very best sleeve you will ever find for this LP. The condition is nearly pristine without any storage wear. The edges are dead sharp, the spine is 100% and fully legible. Moreover there are NO creases NO splits and there is just nothing untoward at all. The wheel is in perfect working order!! This will be a great copy for most prog collectors.

Vinyl: EX.  Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen. A SUPERB VINYL COPY WHICH WILL PROVE HARD TO BETTER!!! There are a couple of the usual sleeve retraction paper traces. There are just a couple of wispy hairlines which do not affect the supreme audio of this LP!!  The record sounds sensational, the vinyl being the extremely thick variety the equivalent of a Rolls Royce in cars.
 Outstanding audio delivery in all respects with a crystal clear, deep, rich, warm and detailed sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing and it's always an immense pleasure to return to this one) there is barely any surface noise. This is a beautifully clean pressing (and I must emphasise again how difficult it is to find a copy which plays this well).  The whole LP sounds absolutely stunning and plays to an extremely high standard with great clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is very strictly graded a strong EX  for audio and appearance  - great copy!! Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks.

Inner sleeve: the original inner sleeve is still there with the lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven", but has side splits like all of these very vulnerable first press inners. An extremely fragile item which I have never seen yet without splits due to the paper used which looks like blotting paper. The vinyl will be sent out in a replacement inner along with this lyric inner sleeve.
