LED ZEPPELIN 1st ORANGE PRESSING

ATLANTIC RED/PLUM 1969, SILVER LINE, WARNERS.

note: run off groove shows mixed up matrixes &   A//1  and   B// 1

 Sleeve: vg     Vinyl: vg    Labels: excellent

 

Laminated sleeve, orange printed name with slightly faded rear portrait. 

Also known as the ‘silver line’ issue, as features on the bottom of front image. 

One of the early pressings from 1969. Very rare.

 

Condition is very good. There’s obvious surfaces marks on vinyl as it was played lovingly…

(I can’t tell you playing condition as it wasn’t mine originally), but overall it isn’t bad for 46 years.

 

The cover has signs of wear; mainly small creasing but again nothing dramatic -I hope the photos do it some justice. 

Labels are lovely crisp and clean. There is no writing apart from inside the sleeve where someone has scribbled some figures.

 

This LP comes from my late father-in-law who was a huge Zep fan – he saw them when they were rock gods in 1973 and again in 1979 at Knebworth!
