If you want a perfect playing copy, do not purchase.  Their are pops, crackles, but do not think any locked grooves, but could be wrong.  Investment piece.

Let me "Test" your Stairway To Heaven 45rpm Single History.... Did you know "Stairway" was NEVER printed NOR SOLD in any music store as a 45rpm in the 1970s? You could only get it on buying the LP... So if you're looking for a official 1970s release 45, it is non existent, as they were never printed, except this promo. And you "think" this is garbage quality? It was only printed in 1972, one time on 45, and THIS IS IT!

Labels Not the best looking but Scarce! Clean label and Original PS its valued $1000+! Even the only PS available, is beat up and valued at $400, w/o this 45rpm! Its a "stepping stone" to get you on the ladder for that great copy!

I don't have a player, but visually, I think their will be surface noise at times. Not all the time. I see some light scuffing at the edges, probably due to storage wear. Their are 2 minor scratches I'd say light-medium depth. Mono side is better then Stereo. Stereo side has 3 small scratches, like 1/32nd-1/16th inch, that may affect popping, but no skipping.

Its not perfect, but I'd say G+.  If its for a jukebox, it may not fit your needs, so you'll need to ACTUALLY spend atleast $750+ for a acceptable perfect sounding quality... Their are only about 100 known copies of this version to exist in 1st Printing Mono.  Rare anytime they come up...

Their are NO "Money Discount Shortcuts" for you to get what you want in this title... Acceptable 1st WLP of this will probably be more valuable then the price of your basic jukebox... Picked it up due to the rarity for show piece. And as always, everyone has a different opinion of "acceptable", but out of all my LPs, this is by far the worst vinyl condition... So this rarity has a trade off, and if in perfect condition, I'd be asking $750+. So its not offered by a clueless seller, nor that "lost gem" perfect quality for you to profit in making a house payment on it... Sometimes ya gotta pay honest heavy prices for quality rarities. Just like everyone, we all want that $1 item to be worth 1k....
