Description
Here is a lovely RARE collectible copy of Led Zeppelin's now legendary 1st album released in 1969 on the Atlantic label in stereo, catalogue number 588171
Despite its age the vinyl itself is still glossy and clean. There are a few paper scuffs and small scratches so VG++ but it plays really well without interruption on both sides on my Michell equipment, just a few seconds of barely audible static in a couple of quieter parts EX-
The rarely uncorrected matrices (only a handful were pressed before the 8 was added & crossed out) are 588171 A//1 and 588171 B//1 - the earliest!
The Atlantic red and plum labels with the 'Superhype' credit are nice and clean with barely any spindlewear EX+
Complete with its inner, the original fully laminated 'MacNeill' sleeve with the desirable turquoise lettering and silver bottom edge is in superb condition for its age; the spine is clean, there's no lifting or creasing and only minimal edge- nibbling: EX
