Some words on this issue: LEAF HOUND: “Growers of Mushrooms” (Telefunken – SLE-14604P) Stoner doom metal avant-la-lettre, Leaf Hound is one of these groups that form the basis for all those modern-day doom metal bands to thrive on. Leaf Hound's epic debut was firstly released on Telefunken in Germany. The German pressing of the album had a different cover -it has the band members painted on the cover and it included a bonus track that wasn't on the UK Decca-issue that closely followed (and which is the rarest). Their doomsday sound combines early Sabbath waltzing-brontosaurus tempos with banshee-wail blues chug a la Zeppelin's first two albums. Leaf Hound's career was short lived and disappeared from the scene, as did their sole LP. Still the legacy keeps on living on and resonating through the sounds of millions stoner doom bands these days. Fantastic!! Poster is missing.
Our grading scale: Mint/ Near Mint/ Excellent/ VG++/. We don’t sell anything below VG++. VG++ grade is basically that the record has some scuffs and has wear. Excellent: record has hardly no visible defects and is preserved with care and attention, the condition most collectors take pride in to file away. Near Mint: a dash below mint, just perfect. Mint: like new.
