The records play through well, and retain a lovely sheen. All sit flat on the turntable.
As expected with Lead Belly – The Last Sessions, this is a historic, session-based recording rather than a modern studio production, so the sound is naturally raw and authentic.
There is some hiss and light crackle in places, which is typical for recordings of this age and style and adds to the character and charm of these historic performances
A solid, honest copy that plays well and presents nicely.
Very well looked after since and stored in a protective outer sleeve
Sits flat on turntable

The sleeves have 2 compartments, one for record and one for inserts - this one has come apart a little at the top edge this is due to the rigid "leatherette" material used on this release
