OK, BACK TO SOME GOOD 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR A WEEK OR TWO - PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE SAME COPY OF THE 'BUMBLE BEE' 45 THAT I OFFERED LAST WEEK - THAT COPY HAS BEEN SOLD, THIS IS A SECOND DIFFERENT COPY OF THIS 45.  This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1960 U.S. Atlantic Records 45 RPM record in its original stock Atlantic Records company sleeve containing the tunes titled 'Bumble Bee'/'My Time Will Come' from R&B pioneer Lavern Baker.   It is Atlantic Records catalog number 2077, and is a GUARANTEED 1960 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION AND NOT A 1970s ERA 'COLLECTORS PRESSING'!!  Lavern's version of 'Bumble Bee' is the original recorded version of this tune, which later appeared on a UK EP by the British Invasion band The Searchers, who also had a hit with the song in the U.S. when it was issued as a single over here in 1965.  Condition of record is conservatively a nice high VG+ with all original gloss and just a few light and small surface marks which mostly show up only under strong light, cannot be felt, and do not affect play.  Record plays through nicely with a tiny bit of light surface noise.  Labels have a little wear around the center hole and a little bit of contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image, no other real flaws worth mentioning.  This 45 would make a choice addition to any 'Mod' R&B dance record collection!
