One of the hardest demos to find in the "800" series, here's a very nice original 1972 UK Demo copy of this all time classic from LAURA LEE with "TO WIN YOUR HEART" on the UK TAMLA MOTOWN imprint # TMG 831 and backed with "SO WILL I". The original Press release remains in situ pasted to the rear of the sleeve.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT A FAULT WHICH MUST BE CONSIDERED BEFORE BIDDING: This copy has a very tight edge split extending through the run-in groove and into the first three groove rotations. It is very difficult to see but shows up under strong light. It does not affect play but you can just about hear a very feint audible click if you listen carefully. Other than that, it remains a lovely copy. Please study all pictures and make sure you are comfortable with the fault before you bid.
Other than the fault described in the previous paragraph, this copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in a very strong excellent plus condition verging more towards mint minus with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and with the lightest of surface sleeve rubs. It has the 4-prong centre intact and the labels are very clean on both sides without any written radio station annotations and with light spindle wear. Still paired with its original company birth sleeve with press release attached and still very much a top copy for the DJ or collector (see picture scans). Starting price reflects the fault as this demo typically attracts a three figure sum.
