Lars Fernlöf And His Orchestra - The Chameleon LP
RCA Victor. LSP 10279. Orange label. Stereo. Swe-69
First press
Graded cover/record Ex/NM
Small remants of dried glue in a rectangle on back of cover (a notice has been pasted and then removed)
(probably easy to clean odd with the proper use of chemical substance).
LP looks very seldom played (no sign of use). In original UK inner sleeve, although record is pressed in Sweden.
Great modern jazz LP with some of the music that appeared as soundtrack in the film Kameleonterna by Torbjörn Axelman.
One of the toughest to find and best swedish jazz LPs in existence!
Excellent music with the first title track opening up with sitar and proceeding with modern jazz.
You will recognise the Färnlöf sound as heard in fe The Staffan Abeleen LPs Downstram or Persepolis.
Monica Nielsen sings on the one vocal Human And Chameleon. Other tracks on A side is Bertil Broström and The Party.
B side consists of one long track - Birthcry with the theme flirting with freejazz.
There is also a progressive touch over the album.
There are not many swedish soundtrack LPs released but this must be the best of them together with Oj Oj Oj (Börje Fredriksson).
