Larry Coryell revisits familiar territory after taking a bit of a downward spiral of career misdirection and personnel changes going back a few years.

The Eleventh House, now defunct, and Coryell re-evaluating his direction, records Back Together Again with ex-Eleventh House drummer Alphonse Mouzon, while retaining John Lee on bass as well.No horns. No keys.Just good funky rock fusion also featuring capable guest guitarist Philip Catherine.

Tunes are electrified and a tad on the dated, yet spooky side of nostalgia…like busting out that old album you forgot existed.All players are on top of their game, and although Alphonse adds his flair and great tunes, Larry Coryell steals the show…still shredding away, continually cementing his influence in what could very well be an instrumental rock album.

(a)          WE GRADE THE VINYL  AS  (WEAK) NEAR MINT. Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL abrasions – mostly sleeve scuffs -  are (barely) visible, but are probably inaudible,  and do not affect visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

(b)            The record is pressed on a RELATIVELY  thick, inflexible vinyl. This is NOT a thin, flimsy ('dynaflex' type),  vinyl, but not the thickest, most rigid vinyl, either.

(c)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

COVER : This reference pressing comes without any custom jacket, and will be shipped in its original plain, generic, white cardboard cover (NOT GRADED SEPARATELY)
