Description

LALO / SAINT-SAENS / MENUHIN / GOOSSENS / PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA - " SYMPHONIE ESPAGNOLE / INTRODUCTION AND RONDO CAPRICCIOSO HAVANAISE ", HMV/EMI Records Ltd (ASD 290) Stereo, 1958

Very rare, 1958, English 1st issue/pressing HMV LP with the original cream & gold labels and front laminated flipback sleeve.

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

VINYL =  EXCELLENT  (No proper scratches, no groove damage, no distortion, only the lightest spindle trails, etc. In normal daylight the vinyl appears perfectly clean, under a bright grading lamp I can make out a couple of very light paper scuffs - although these are purely visual and during playback, these very slight cosmetic flaws don't correspond directly to any audible defects.
On playback, there is some faint surface noise during the silent run-in (in the pressing) which disappears as soon as the music starts. It plays really well - strong, clean and without interuptions.

Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)

SLEEVE = V.G.  (No rips, tears, heavy creases, etc. Still flat, but I had to mark it down for some wear to the edges, a small amount of light creasing and other damage to the front laminate, plus a back which is 'yellowed', has a small blue pen number written on it and also a bigger ink mark - see photos for further clarification)

NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.

ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!

HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
