Description

LA CLAVE - LA CLAVE  (VerveV6-8819; stereo LP; 1973).   Here it is.... the very rare and in demand early 70's Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz Soul Funk Rock outfit led by percussionist Benny Velarde and centered in San Francisco. The tracks include a totally incredible version of Donnie Hathaway's "The Ghetto", and Lonnie Smith's "Move Your Hand", as well as  the classic "Sally Go Round The Roses", "Angels Of Mercy", "Move Your Hands" (a Lonnie Smith tune), "Latin Slide" (Lalo Schifrin tune), "Who You Fooling",  "Road Runner", "Soul Sauce" (a Dizzy Gillespie tune), "Bailia Mi Guaguanco", and "Cocoa Leaf"(another Lalo Schifrin tune). This  MINT condition promotional LP received very little distribution beyond radio stations. Here's the LP with the breaks you gotta have! Don't snooze on this one... it dosen't turn up very often in this shape!!!    The Disc is mint. The Labels are mint. The cover is a glossy near mint. This is a BEAUTIFUL copy of a very desirable lp!   The opening price is ridiculously low to get you to BID EARLY!!! (Just in case.... Ebay's been known to go down during those "last minutes that count" for nightly service!) Payment via PAYPAL (preferred) or check (allow 2 weeks to clear). Other arrangementments can be made, just ask. PRIORITY FIRST CLASS Shipping, packaging and handling in the U.S. is $6 per order. International orders are $10.
