Description

Frankie Dymon Jnr, Let it out (Poems in Words and Music), BASF Stereo 20 21241-6, Made in Germany 1971.

Side A: The City, Sylvia, Aftermyth, Wait nigger, Wait!.

Side B: Together Train, Reflections, Soul Sister Angela, In the Same Bag, Judy, No Title.

Cover in VG++/M- condition (Beautiful Gatefold cover, light ringwear and rubbed corners, otherwise near M).

Vinyl in VG+/VG++ condition (Side A VG++, side B VG+, hairline marks which do not affect play).

My grading system: M (Mint, totally untouched, as new), M- (Very light wear, looks and plays beautifully without any problems), VG++ (Light wear but still looks and plays beautifully without problems), VG+ (Slight wear, thin, light marks on vinyl, could have light surface noise), VG (Wear, cover could be torn, split, record has marks, plays ok but could have skips and surface noise) etc.

Rest assured, I send my items well packaged in UK professional mailers. Lp is outside of the cover in plastic sleeve. All at no profit for me, official postage prices.

Hello and welcome to my third auction of the year 2008! I have listed a wide variety of items this week, ranging from African, Middle Eastern, Jazz to Contemporary Classical and even Dance and Pop 12"s! So please check my other titles. If you have any questions or would like to hear any of the titles, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

What we have here is a VG++/M- original first pressing of this mind blowing record. Now, as soon as I saw the cover of this record I was very intrigued, I researched it and found this:

What else do I need to add?...it's all those things and more!...I would describe it as: Trippy, Psych Jazz Kraut with socio-political poetry over it all, imagine the Last poets meets early 70's Kraut. Definetly from 1971!!!...god knows what they were on when they made this but it has it all, Choirs, delayed electronics, drum breaks, vocal samples, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Blues, Psychedelic, Filmic...and it's all produced by Conny Plank. If you know Achim Reichel's early seventies albums (which I think are totally underrated), stuff by the Beat Group The Rattles,  the Last Poets then you know how good this is going to be. Small reserve on this as it is so rare. Bid with confidence, this is a truly mind blowing record!
