Up for sale is a 1977 U.S. first pressing of Trans-Europe Express by Kraftwerk on the original orange textured Capitol label (SW-11603).
Authentic early U.S. pressing featuring:
• Textured orange Capitol labels
• ℗ 1977 Capitol Records, Inc.
• No barcode (pre-1980s issue)
• “MASTERED BY CAPITOL” with “KP” in the deadwax
Matrix / Run-Out (hand-etched):
Side A: SW-1-11603-F6 #2 – MASTERED BY CAPITOL KP
Side B: SW-2-11603-F5 #3 – MASTERED BY CAPITOL KP
Condition:
• Vinyl: VG+ – retains strong gloss with light surface marks/hairlines typical of a well-kept vintage copy. Plays very well overall.
• Sleeve: VG+ – minor edge and corner wear consistent with age; clean and structurally solid.
