Otto Klemperer conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra London- With Elisabeth Scharzkopf, Soprano.

German 1st edition Columbia pressing with white & red stereo-label. Golden stereo-sticker on front-cover. This one resembles the British SAX 2441 edition.

Record comes from a lot, where I opened the original sales-cardboardbox myself. This lay unopened for around 40 years or more and literally comes to you from a time-warp ! This copy is not sealed, but I guarantee, it's never been played !!

A general word about  grading:

All records are described as accurately as possible and I tend to judge conservatively but I will, however, only visually grade them.

Please note that old records that were stored in shelves for a long time might have static noises even if they still look like new. Professional cleaning will almost always solve that problem. 

As there are different preferences about cleaning methods among record-collectors I will usually not pre-clean any of the offered records. Dust on records will thus not influence my gradings. Only if records appear to have stronger signs of soiling, I will give them a cleaning to get a more objective view on what their condition is actually like.

In these cases I will always mention it in my descripton. When it's not expressively mentioned, the records haven't been cleaned.
