Record Grading
M – (Mint) brand new, perfect condition, usually sealed, un-played.
NM (Near Mint) – Near perfect, played maybe only a few times, record is glossy. No marks, and the package is complete.
VG+ - Vinyl in really good shape. Only superficial signs of use that don’t affect play. Well cared-for. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background cackle.
VG (Very Good) – A used, reasonable copy. Some signs of wear, light surface pops and clicks between tracks or during quiet passages. An edge split, light visible scratches, but still quite nice. Visually and audibly USED.
G (Good) – not a great copy, only something desirable worth selling here, with a good price, and no-holds-barred description to match.
