One of the rarest officially released Kiss albums in the world, Originals II was released to coincide with Kiss'1978 Japanese Tour. The collection is very similar in style to The Originals, with band members faces (this time in cartoon form) appearing out of a nuclear blast. Paper inner sleeves with reproductions of each album's cover and an eight-page booklet (this time featuring in concert photos) were also enclosed, plus 12" X 12" cardboard masks of each band member. The collection came with a large red vertical band (OBI), which promoted the album as "Overview Of Hell, Part II." To find a copy complete (especially with the four masks) is almost impossible!
This one is PERFECT!! It has blown away every Kiss collector that I have shown!
If it does not sell the first time, I will keep it and get it signed!
I never thought I would sell this one!
The first photo (which I took in 1998) actually shows a 2nd copy. I sold that 12 years ago for $500.00. That one had a small ring wear of about 2". This one for sale here has no wear anywhere, and the records are still unplayed! I took the photo back then so I would never have to open the sleeve up again.
WHY BUY A CHEAPER ONE WITH HOPES TO UPGRADE TO ONE LIKE THIS. Don't waste your time!
Don't be fooled by reproduction inserts! I have seen many sets with copies of the masks!
