His hobby was collecting records, thousands of them, many he never played, and if so, once out of curiosity. A big asset to his hobby: his best friend was a distributor in the record industry. Always stored in his dry, air-conditioned, no smoking home, in a room just for record storage.  This Kiss "Double Platinum" album, Casablanca Records NBLP-7100-2, (Printed NBLP-7100 on cover back, and NBLP-7100-2DJ on all 4 labels) was a huge album for Kiss, their best seller, with some of their biggest hits.  This Promo album, stamped on album cover back and printed on all 4 labels,  looks like it was played and handled very little. The vinyl is near Mint, with minimal spindle marks and  a new record sheen on all 4 sides.
The gatefold cover has no splits, holes or  tears  and still has a nice sheen (there is a very light ring mark from storage visible in the photos).  Please note there is no printing on the cover spine ,only the front, back and inside the gatefold. The 2 Kiss inserts are mint. The 2 original poly-lined sleeves are EX.

 A very collectible version of this rare historic album.  A must have for any rock history buff or Kiss fan.
 Please note that all vinyl is inspected under bright lighting using a 5X opti-visor magnifier.
Record Grading: Mint: The record looks like it just left the manufacturer; no flaws. It looks like it was never handled. No scuffs, scratches, blotches or stains or spindle marks.
Near Mint: This record appears flawless, very minor, hard to see scuffs from removing from sleeve, no scratches, new record sheen, may have small hard to see spindle marks.
Excellent: Minor scuffs,  these blems should not be heard when playing, good sheen,  may have minor spindle marks.
VG+: Plays essentially clean, but may have a few spots with very minimal surface noise, may have very light scuffs, still has some sheen, may have some spindle marks.
VG: Handling and wear more visible, still plays fine, with occasional  surface noise, not as much sheen as VG+, may have some spindle marks.
I won't sell records that are at least VG.

Covers and sleeves will be graded on an individual basis.
All records will be shipped in a padded, heavy cardboard container. All used albums will be shipped with the vinyl out of the original sleeve ( in a new acid free white sleeve) to preserve sleeve and cover spine integrity.
